Luminous Red
RAL 3024 Luminous Red is a fluorescent, high-intensity red designed for life-safety applications where maximum visibility is critical. Using fluorescent pigments that absorb UV light and re-emit it as visible light, this color appears to glow in daylight conditions. Luminous Red is specified for emergency equipment, fire extinguisher markings, and safety barriers where immediate recognition can prevent injury or save lives. As with all fluorescent colors, UV stability is limited and periodic recoating may be necessary for exterior applications.
