RAL 000 15 00
Jet Dark
RAL 000 15 00 Jet Dark anchors the bottom of the RAL Design grey axis at lightness 15 with zero chroma, the darkest achievable neutral in the system. It is specified for blackout surfaces, cinema and home-theatre interiors, and premium automotive trim where maximum light absorption and visual depth are essential. Despite its extreme darkness, it retains a fractional grey quality that distinguishes it from absolute black, lending surfaces a refined, velvety finish.
Color Reference
The RAL Design system uses Hue-Lightness-Chroma (HLC) notation. Hue describes the color family (0-360°), Lightness describes brightness (0-100), and Chroma describes saturation intensity (0-100+).
WCAG 2.1 AA requires 4.5:1 contrast for normal text. Results show this color as a background.
